Sid is a very loving Dachshund, he is well behaved (no barking, stays off the furniture). He has been spoiled & well loved however we recently added a new addition to our family, our 1st child. Sid is jealous my time is now taken with the baby & looks at her as competition. He has snipped several times at our daughter & on the advice of our vet & many agonizing months I have decided to be fair to both Sid & our daughter it is best to find a new home for him. He loves to go on walks & snuggle close. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy in 2005 but with medication daily has not had a seizure in about 1yr. I am taking this very seriously & need to make sure whoever is lucky enough to get Sid will take very good care of him & fully realizes his limitations (small children, his Epilepsy & love for walks). He is good with other dogs, his best friend Bratwurst the Dachshund just recently moved to Texas (he has had a lot of changes recently). Likes to play and snuggle with our cat. I am hopeful I will find Sid the perfect new family as we are planning on the arrival of our 2nd child this spring.
