Summer is a sweet doxie girl who was given up by her owner when she lost her home. She came from the same home as Teddy, Candy and Kisses. She is trying to adjust to her new life and it isn’t so easy for her to be separated from her little family of dogs. She follows her foster mom around everywhere. She will need an adopter who has patience and a lot of love to give. Because she isn’t leash-trained or completely housebroken, she’ll need a fenced-in back yard. She’ll also need a sweet doggie companion or two to keep her company. Summer is a little overweight and her foster mom has her on a diet. This little lady craves attention and loves to give kisses. No children under 12 or cats please because she wasn’t been raised around either. She definitely is a cuddler when it comes to watching TV and hanging out!

**In order to avoid transporting Summer and to facilitate a home visit she will only be placed within 50 miles (or thereabouts) of the Baltimore-Washington DC-Northern VA area.**
