Princeton, “Prince”, is a big handsome friendly longhair boy who is looking for an adult home with no children and no visiting small children. He lived in a home with five children under the age of nine and was pushed past the limit of what can be reasonably expected from any dog. Though he is a patient loving dog, it was too much for him. His owner loved him and wanted a better life for him so she contacted rescue to take him. He is in a foster home with only adults now and his frazzled nerves are calming down. He likes children as is evidenced by how he acted toward my grandson but close encounters with multiple small children in tight quarters is not for Prince (or most dogs I know).

Prince could stand to lose a few pounds. He is good with other dogs and was raised with a cat. He has a laid back attitude and is friendly even upon first meeting people. He is mostly housebroken and is crate-trained. He walks on a leash but pulls a little bit. I’m looking for a kind dog savvy adopter for him.

**In order to avoid transporting Prince and to facilitate a home visit he will only be placed within 75 miles (or thereabouts) of the Baltimore-Washington DC-Northern VA area.**
