Ferdinand aka Ferdy was turned over to rescue when his 13 yo master moved back to England. The Mother could not handle a new baby and Ferdy, so he was turned over. Ferdy has never been well socialized, so he is terrified of new people. But once he figures out you will play ball with him he quickly becomes your friend. Ferdy adores toys, balls, soccer balls. He loves to play with them, but never destroys them. He knows how to sit, is house trained, and crate trained.

This Colorado Sweetheart is a Colorado Dachshund Rescue friend. All of our dogs, are spay and neutered, up to date on vaccines and are heartworm negative and on preventative. We rehome close to 100 Dachshunds each year, and save many of them from certain death at local shelters. By working with local shelters, we are able to give them a second chance to find their new forever homes.
