Ivy was rescued from a commercial breeding facility in Nebraska. For 10 years she was bred over and over, nearly to death. She was afraid to come out of her carrier when she first arrived at HUA.

Ann was rescued from a commercial breeding facility in Nebraska. She had a very hard life there. For 5 years she produced puppies for pet stores.

Elena is a lovely girl. Elena is full of Dachshund spunk. She is very friendly but she does prefer to be the top dog.

Sukie

Sukie is a energetic, outspoken, funny, playful little girl. She came from a home where the people fell on hard times and could no longer care for her.

Ricky is a standard Dachshund, he is a semi long haired boy in a lovely black and tan coat. This little boy is just a big old love bug!

Towser came from a puppy mill in Missouri where the lack of care was startling. Poor Towser lost 19 teeth at his first vet visit. His age is an educated guess. He could be younger.

Dudie is a spunky, happy, fun little boy. He is always on the go, off on a big investigative Dachshund mission.
