I was very happy to make my second visit to the new "Dachshund Hacienda" this past weekend. It seems that I go there to encourage Benny and he ends up encouraging me! Good friends, indeed. Anna (my wife) was excited to see all of the wide open spaces and potential for the new compound. It really excited her to envision what it might be like in the future. We will be supporting this new venture more in the future in whatever form we can provide. Whether materials, time, labor, expertise, donations or babysitting...we will be helping Benny somehow toward his dream. We always remember that Benny's dream is actually the dream of every abused, abandoned, homeless or senior dachshund...to be cared for and loved every day that a breath is taken. Tons of love and affection is what will be given in return.
